The Cacao Group was born in May of 2012 when DK Truffles and Amber Lyn Chocolates merged to form a new entity focused on creating the highest quality chocolate confections. The union of these two companies brings to bear over 40 years of confectionery experience.
The company’s products are sold all over the United States and exported to Australia, China, Japan and the Philippines. It’s brands include Amber Lyn Sugar Free Belgian Chocolate, Cold Stone Chocolate, Crev, Utah Truffles and a host of private labels. Manufacturing facilities are located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I was sent over a lot of Chocolates to try out. So I am not going to go over all 26 of them in this post just because all my dark chocolate my mom took when she seen them.
Cold Stone Chocolate Bars have to be the best ones for me. I think this is the best chocolate bar I have ever had. I like that it comes in FIVE flavors:
-
Chocolate Devotion – I put them in the freezer I like them cold. They are sweet but not to sweet
- Cookies and Creamery – The kids like this one a lot said it just like having cookies
-
Mmmmmmint Chip – Mint chocolate is one was like heaven in your mouth
-
Cherry Almond Sundae – A nice mix
- Coffee Lovers Only – These are amazing they melt in your mouth and the coffee and chocolate together is just right.
Amberlyn chocolates truffles are Low Carb, Sugar Free, Gluten Free. I like how cream they are. They have a natural sweetener that maintains the taste associated with sugar, but with half the carbs and little or no effect on the blood sugar.
Utah Truffles are nice I got six of them to try out
Toffee – Has a little mix of a crunchy to them.
Mint – This truffle has the right amount of mint to it
Orange – Not a big fan of this one
Espresso – This is a nice smooth chocolate good to have with a hot drink.
Chocolate – rich creamy milk chocolate
Almond – I love almonds and this one had to be one of the best I tried out of them all.
