Overall this very easy to use this stand, and it is particularly nice when viewing a movie, youtube or Skype. This works just find on a soft surface and the stand will rock just a little. This stand is perfect to hold the iPad but I just have my galaxy table. The legs spread enough to fit over both the child and the little ones. This is actually that I have found that works perfectly for the over night stays in the hospital.
