Recently, I received a surprise package in the mail from Rainbow Honey. Excited, I opened to find 5 lovely nail polishes:
Rainbow Honey “Magic Cake” is a neon top coat. Turn any manicure into a neon blast with these bright glitters; word on the street is this cake will make you trip! This is easy to apply and spreads easily. With all of the neon glitter top coats out there right now, the shimmer in the base of this polish makes it special.
Next up is “The Kraken” seems to be the name of a legendary sea monster. But if I had to say, this color would make me think of mystical mermaids. The polish consists of gold and blue hexagon glitters of various sizes in a gorgeous sea blue color. The polish has a thick consistency which actually aids the application of the glitter.
Next is “Sweet Talk” which is a sheer white polish with pale ice blue, red and purple hexes. The glitter here is tiny to small in size so it is not overwhelming. There’s also a subtle pink shimmer but it’s only slightly visible on the nail. This is also a good contender for my Valentine Manicure.
Now Rainbow Honey “XOXO” is a polish glitter top coat made up small and medium pink hexes and lots of fine and super fine holo glitter. Honestly, I see this being layered over white to create the perfect Valentine’s manicure.
The last one I received is the “Papillon” which contains butterfly shaped rose pink glitters and purple and holographic small glitters in a clear base. It’s really cute and spring like. It applies really well and I had no trouble getting the larger glitters out. This polish is due to be released in mid-March as a part of Rainbow Honey’s upcoming Midnight Garden Spring Collection.
As always, Rainbow Honey nail polish is gorgeous and will be the shining star in my manicure!
