The inspiration for OOLAA came from Jacqueline’s mom.
“When I was a teenager I moved away from my family in Ohio to Boston to train as a competitive figure skater. Each month I eagerly awaited the arrival of a special package from my mom. I loved the surprise of discovering what was inside, and the shared joy the packages created between me and my mom as we learned about new things together.
Although I didn’t realize it at the time, the packages opened my eyes to a world outside my bubble – a world beyond the rink, and beyond school. My skating dreams were cut short by a dislocated knee, but as that door closed another opened when I was accepted to Harvard just months later. I graduated with a degree in sociology and went to work in marketing at PepsiCo in NYC. Two years later I still found myself thinking of my mom’s packages and the possibility of creating a way to share that special experience with other girls”.

Knowing how important inspiration is, every OOLAA box offers an inspiring story. Items of companies run by women, profiles of women who are innovators in their field, to women taking risks, trying new ventures, and putting their mark on the world!

Every month, you’ll receive a box of seasonally appropriate surprises of 4-5 items in a variety of categories ranging from beauty & wellness, to snacks, to lifestyle items, crafts and much more. Each box contains a mixture of sample and full size items.
