It’s been about 2 years that I have been trying to eat better and get my body on the right track so I can feel and look healthier. I have tried a lot of different products out to help me monitor my calorie intake, track how many steps I have taken. A lot of them work well but then they started glitching. I was very excited when I had the opportunity to try out Healbe GoBe2.
GoBe2 monitors nine key health parameters, the most we have seen in a fitness tracker or any other connected health device:
- Calorie Intake
- Calorie burn
- Water Balance
- Sleep quality
- Heart Rate
- Emotional state
- Stress Level
- Steps and Distance
The GoBe2 does not exactly track what you eat, what it does is following the side effects of energy accumulation and consumption by your body. When your body absorbs the energy either from the food you eat or from internal resources, the glucose concentration rises. The cells release the water to absorb the glucose. The GoBe2 analyze fluid moving in and out of body cells. Then FLOW Technology process this information through an algorithm and calculate calorie intake. You may fast for three days in a row and still, the GoBe2 will show the energy consumption as the device not able to differentiate the source of the energy you consume.
The calorie intake feature has proven accuracy above 80% if you have a mixed diet and wearing the device at least 18 hours a day.
I like to try a product like this out for longer than a couple of weeks so that’s just what I did. I like to see how something fully functions before I even think about doing a review are recommending a product. The GoBe2 is pretty easy to set up all you have to do is right after taking the device out of the box make sure that you fully charge it. I do not recommend using it straight out of the box. When getting a new product it’s always better to make sure it’s fully charged before turning it on. Afterwards you’re going to want to go to the App Store on your device and download the app.
One thing I noticed about GoBe2 it took a couple of days after first using the device to get an accurate reading on data including sleep, calorie intake, energy, and balance. I had a big debate and discussion with my sister about how the sensors track everything going on and after I didn’t have answers I looked on their website and it said. It’s tracked through the moisture in your skin, which activates GoB2’s sensors. The amount of moisture determines the degree of stress – high, low or normal.
Others fitness trackers I had and the past didn’t have so many sensors on them but the GoBe2 has six sensors built into the fitness tracker. That monitor your data, including a galvanic skin response sensor, impedance sensor, accelerometer, Piezo sensor, Gyroscope and a magnetometer.
Every day I feel like I am learning something new about this tracker. With all that said i’m going to link their website below so you can find more information about their product but I am also going to do a new post to update you guys on this product and how it’s been working. So keep your eyes open that may come later on this year or next.
