Sound heard through ETY•Kids earphones will not exceed safe levels, so parents can rest easy. Even at the maximum volume setting on portable players, kids can listen safely for up to four hours per day. The kids love listening to music, but I don’t like how high they have the volume turned up. These earphones sound great, which is what you would expect from Etymotic. We especially like that they block out a lot of the background noise. They are designed for children ages 4+ and there is a variety of ear tips in the package to ensure proper fit in different sized ears. The volume limiting works very well, the sound is very well balanced, and they are lightweight – just right for kids!
