Now, I let my friend use the baby shusher as she has a newborn. Not only does it shhhhh a baby to sleep very calmly, it also has volume control to have it as high as you want it, or as low. It also has a timer for 15 minutes and 30 minutes. She said it works great and helped to keep the baby calm while she did the housework.
