Shutter Ball

Disclaimer, I received this  item in exchange for a review. All opinions are 100% my own

ShutterBall is a remote shutter for smartphone cameras.  It is a Bluetooth powered remote shutter control that pairs with your smartphone via an app and allows you to take perfect ‘selfies’, group shots and videos without having to endure the contortions sometimes necessary to trigger the shutter on your smartphone. Never take an awkward ‘selfie’ or be left out of a group photo again!

Compatible with both iPhone and Samsung smartphone models, ShutterBall triggers your smartphone for still shots and video. It also provides better control for blur-free group shots at a distance of up to 60 feet. The device is coin cell battery operated and provides up to 5-year battery life with Bluetooth Low Energy. ShutterBall has a loop to attach it onto your jeans, bag or keychain and it even includes a bonus stand/easel to prop up your smartphone.

I let my nephew Brett try this out and he said it was super easy.  He downloaded the app, synched the Bluetooth and it was ready to go.  Set the phone on a ledge using the easel and line it up to where you will be standing, walk back and get into position.  Once you are ready to take the picture, you just click the Shutterball and it snaps the photo for you.  Much easier than setting a self-timer and having to rush to get ready and not knowing exactly when the photo will be taken !!!

ShutterBall is currently available in your choice of green, pink, blue and black and can be found at at Toys “R” Us, Amazon.com, HSN.com and audiovox.com for $24.99.
