The was the right thing to get my sister because she had surgery and cannot get out of bed to turn on or off the fan but because this fan has a remote it made it a lot better for her.The remote will control the speed, the mode, if you want it to Oscillate and has a timer so if you want it on when you are sleeping you can set it to shut off so it will not be on all night. But The fan can also be controlled from the base or by remote You can set it to run for up to 12 hours and than it will automatically shut off if you like.
She also likes that it can cool off the big master bedroom in just over 15 mins. There is three speeds and all of them provide a lot of cooling. I definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a tower fan or another fan Ozeri has to offer.
