Exergen Temporal Scanner Infrared Ther mometer

**Disclaimer, I received a sample to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% my own**

The Exergen temporal scanner infrared thermometer offers an easy and non-invasive method to measure one’s temperature. You can get an accurate temperature with a forehead scan. The Exergen temporal artery thermometer has a LCD screen with both a Celsius and Fahrenheit display. It incorporates the Precision Infrared System to capture naturally emitted heat from the skin. Its LCD indicator flashes when the highest temperature is recorded and alerts you with an audible sound. This forehead scan thermometer has an automatic power-saving shut-off feature. It has a safe mercury-free design. It can be used on newborns, infants, children and adults. It requires a single 9-volt battery for operation.

I seen this at the doctor’s office and it seem easy to use.  It quickly gives an accurate temperature reading It gives a fast reading. Push and HOLD the scan button, then slide it slowly across the forehead towards the hairline, keeping constant contact with the forehead.

You should hear it beep, several quick beeps, and the red LED light will glow, letting you know it is picking up sensor readings. You release the button when you are done moving the thermometer, then pick it up and read the temperature on the screen. The thermometer will turn itself off after 30 seconds, or you can quickly push the button to power it off manually.

If you have kids/baby that you have to fight with to try and take there temperature then I would say you need one of them in your life. Or if you now someone that is going to have a baby this will make a good gift.
