Who We Are:
We’re Marshall and Elliott, two brothers who get along well with each other, but not with gluten. We spent a lot of time searching for a high protein bar that tasted awesome AND was good for you….but we never found it. So, we decided to create it ourselves, and in 2010 The GFB was born. Today, The GFB is a robust, quickly growing brand carried in over 1000 locations across the United States.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: make the world’s best gluten-free protein snacks. We do that through a relentless focus on amazing taste and using only simple, wholesome ingredients.
I received 4 of their Gluten Free Bars to try out:
Peanut Butter: This GFB has the real genuine taste and texture of real crushed peanuts, like I was eating a hunk of a nice balance of crushed peanuts mixed into fresh peanut butter. This Peanut Butter flavor is thick, dense, and satisfying.
Oatmeal Raisin: Oh! This flavor honestly tasted like the world’s BEST fresh Oatmeal Cookie EVER! Just listen to the ingredients: Sunflower seeds, oats, whole grain brown rice protein, organic agave nectar, california raisins, dates, soy protein isolate. This was definitely my favorite!!
Chocolate Peanut Butter: The peanut butter chocolate had a sweet milk chocolate flavor that tasted like a brownie. The exterior of the bar is nice and smooth texture, but inside it’s a nice soft moist inside, with nutty crisps
Cranberry Toasted Almond: I honestly thought this bar might be on the tad “dry” side, b/c with a lot of bars with dried cranberries I have had, they’d been a bit “stale” taste. I could taste the lightly toasted cranberries which gave it a zesty savory fruitiness.
