I am a beef lover. I love trying new types of jerky out. You can tell that the people over at Jimmy’s Sticky Jerky put a lot love into the work to make their jerky. In this house let me tell you it did not last long. Every piece of beef is personally selected by Jimmy and trimmed by hand with his knife in specific ways to ensure tenderness in each bite.
Barbecue beef jerky is described by the company as a mix of “St. Louis style sweet and sticky with the vinegar-based flavors of a Carolina BBQ.“
BBQ Beef Jerky was one of my favorites jerky’s.
Cilantro & Lime beef jerky uses fresh squeezed limes, lime zest, and fresh chopped cilantro, which the company claims gives this jerky a very clean, citrus, southwestern flavor, topped off with a hint of cayenne pepper. This one to me seemed to have a strong pepper taste even though it contained limes and cilantro.
The first thing I taste from the surface of these pieces is a lot of sweetness. This one is amazing .You can really taste the depth of flavors from the marinade.
Now, Jimmy’s Sticky Jerky comes in several flavors:
- Turkey Sweet
- Beef Sweet
- Beef Black Pepper
- Beef BBQ

- Turkey Heat
- Beef Heat

- Beef RFH (Really Freaking Hot!)
