illuMask anti-aging review

Disclaimer, I received this item in exchange for a review. All opinions are 100% my own

So, what exactly is the IlluMask?  IlluMask uses LED light therapy to battle the effects of acne and aging.  This is similar to what they use in dermatologists offices, but more affordable.  LED light phototherapy harnesses the natural healing power of the sun, while being 100% free of damaging ultraviolet (UV) light.  The mask is FDA approved and there are two different types of masks – one that focuses on acne and the other is an anti-aging.

I opened the box and found these masks that reminded me of Jason from Friday the 13th – but heck, if these were going to and help with some of my fine lines and uneven skin tones  (which for the record, I should not have at my age!) – I was willing to give it a go!

The mask is very easy to use – it is like sliding a pair of glasses on your face.  Then you sit back and relax for 15 minutes.  I would do it in the morning before I got ready to get my day started.  It was almost like sitting in the sun – without the dangerous rays and the age wrinkling tan!  You know that feeling you have when you are sitting outside and the sun is on your face and it warms your entire body and gets you nice and relaxed?  That is the feeling I got when wearing my IlluMask!  It was a little bit of ME time to sit and enjoy the quiet before my day took off!

The IlluMask is available at Ulta, Walmart, Drugstore.com, Walgreens and soon at Target for only $29.  The mask lasts for 30 treatments and is a bargain compared to the $125  – $500 per visit that you would pay at a doctor’s office.  For more information on the Illumask visit: www.illumask.com.

The review listed above is my own opinion. I was not paid to post the review. However, we may receive free products in exchange for reviews from time to time. Otherwise, we review products that we personally bought/use with our family’s. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I have used personally, and think will be good fit for my readers
