Kahiniwalla is a business which distributes Fair Trade products and tells the story behind those products. They care about the quality of their products, how they’re made with the bigger picture in mind. Pebble is one of these products designed by Samantha Morshed, a social entrepreneur based in Bangladesh. Samantha’s vision for Pebble of providing a place close to rural homes in Dhaka where women could work flexible hours was just what over 12,000 rural women were looking for. These rural workplaces provide a welcome alternative to women moving to a large city to work in the garment industry leaving their families behind and making themselves vulnerable to unsafe, unjust and sometimes violent situations.
I was happy to know that Pebble products are ethically made makes them that much more amazing. I was sent over somethings for review and I must say I LOVE the quality of them. Everything I got I did give to a friend who just had a baby and she said that little Alex loves it.
Blue Stripey Blanket is a hand knit blanket with crochet edging. This blanket is five different colors and super soft. She told me that her baby loves this blanket a lot and she now has to take it with them wherever they go for him to fall asleep.
The next two things are baby rattles and I must say I have never seen rattles like them before. The goat rattle is a toy in one for any little kid. They can play with it sleep with it like a doll but if you more him fast you will here a little rattle sound. The watermelon fruit rattle was a big hit with my friends baby. Every time we shake the watermelon rattle the baby will laugh and smile.
Overall I like Kahiniwalla site a lot and think they have a lot to offer. For more information or to see everything that they carry please visit them at kahiniwalla.com
