Building a Better Tire Swing
As fun as they were, the problem with a classic tire swing was in the design. Kids can amuse themselves with simple things for hours but as adults we can see the flaws. With classic recycled tire swings
- There’s a messy black coating that stains clothes
- Old tires suffer from rot in moist climates
- Tires crack in the sun (and those cracks can pinch, remember?)
- Real tires get hot in the sun
- Untreated ropes deteriorate and can break
When it comes to having fun my kids, we love to swing so when I got this to review they told me it was the best ever. This XL swing was a lot of fun for them both to play on and have fun. I even wish I had something like this when I was their age. With this swing you can hang outside on a tree or even indoors. I thought of putting this in the kids playroom because they are always in there and with some pillows this would be a nice place to take a nap.
