Kauffman’s Father’s Day

Kauffman’s “Bird-In-Hand Brand” Orchard Products have been recognized and enjoyed since the early 1900’s. Founder Amos L. Kauffman planted the first fruit trees in 1911, and today the 3rd, 4th, & 5th generations operate the business. Our warehouse and country market are located in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Dutch Country, along Rt. 340 between the villages of Bird-In-Hand and Intercourse (directions). Our nearby orchards produce over 135 varieties of tree fruits on 100 acres and are managed with a visionary focus that watches changing consumer needs and national market conditions.

Recently, I had the privilege to work with Kauufman’s on another review:

Bird-in-Hand Beauty Fruit Basket:
Contains six pieces of fancy fruit, a four oz. bag of our homemade sweet apple snitz, and an 8.5 oz. jar of Kauffman’s Fruit Farm produced Apple Butter atop a round wicker tray. Entire pack is enclosed in heat-shrunk, food-grade poly wrap. Each arrangement includes an attractive red ribbon which can easily be assembled and attached by the buyer or beneficiary.

This basket will make a great gift for Father’s Day as I know my father loves fruit and this will be extra specialwith the sweet apple snitz!

Hickory Smoked Beef Jerky:
You jerky lovers will be impressed (for quite a long while!) when you have a one pound package (or two) of this Lancaster County specialty shipped to your house. Everyone in the family, we expect, will be clamoring for that great Hickory Smoked Beef Jerky whether they’re going hiking, heading for the game or whether they just need a little something to tide them over!

Now what man doesn’t love beef jerky? I love the hickory smoked taste and the jerky was not chewy like some I have eaten.
